FLOATING ABOVE
The award-winning Kame House documentary tells the story of Avery Chandler’s brush with death when he was shot in the face. Haitian painter Alain Jean-Baptiste’s next portrait piece aims to help express Avery’s trauma and turn it into a work of art.
Premiered on February 26th, 2024 at the 2nd annual POV showcase held at the Philadelphia Film Center, and shown at the 8th annual Jim Thorpe Film Festival in May 2025.
University of the Arts Closure Protest
Univeristy of the Arts (my alma mater) gave all students & faculty less than one week’s notice before the entire institution CLOSED DOWN. I spoke with attendees at one of the closure protests in front of Hamilton hall, and share my own brief reflection on my time at the university.

from Oct 2024 - Oct 2025, Kame House hosted a monthly Jazz Jam at the Sidewalk clothing store located on 505 South Street in Philadelphia, aiming to create a space where anyone can come in and have fun playing or enjoying music without the pressure and prestige of jams in higher end jazz clubs.
